Ripon Sailing Club
In terms of sailing, our dinghy base is at Ripon Sailing Club which is about a 40 minute drive from the main University campus (check out the map below).
We either hire cars or do lift shares to get to the club so don't worry you are not expected to get there alone!!
Our new windsurfing base is at the Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club. This drive is about an hour away, but again transport will be provided to get there!
There are opportunities for yachting at locations outside of York throughout the year, usually in Bridlington or Scarborough (more information to follow).
